From September 2016 until August 2017 ICCN is hosting a volunteer from Germany. Alica Wittschen has graduated from High School in June 2016 and is now taking part in a development volunteer service. The service is implemented by the German NGO “Bread for the World” (Brot für die Welt) and part of the “weltwärts” program which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
One of ICCNs current project is "Fostering Russia-Georgia Neighborly Relations though Multististakeholder Networking and Expert Dialogue". In the frames of this project Alica is currently doing a research about the Georgian-Russian relation with a focus from the German or European perspective. Next to researching articles, she interviewed different experts in Georgia to find out about their opinions and recommendations on this topic.
Alica is looking forward to spending the next months with ICCN.
