Conflict Analysis Framework

On May 25, within the GPPAC South Caucasus Program, ICCN, the regional secretariat, conducted a thematic meeting about the conflict analysis framework for the youth engaged in the assistance to the IDPs and interested in the conflict and peace issues. Training participants were offered practical exercises and simulation games to learn their perceptions and attitudes toward the ways of dealing with the conflict and/or conflict-prone situations. Participants received theoretical knowledge and practical instruments on how to analyze conflict based on the best international practices.

One of the lessons learned from the meeting was that significant efforts need to be applied to instill in the youth the awareness of the worthiness of conflict prevention activities.
