Inter-regional Cooperation Between GPPAC Regional Networks of South Caucasus and Central Asia has Launched

During November 25-26, Dubai hosted a joint Meeting of GPPAC Regional Networks of South Caucasus and Central Asia entitled as Interregional cooperation: local approaches to peacebuilding and conflict prevention 2020-2025. The event held under the aegis of Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflicts (GPPAC), was organized by the International Center on Conflict and Negotiation (GPPAC Regional Secretariat in Caucasus) and Foundation for Tolerance International (GPPAC Regional Secretariat in Central Asia).

Participants discussed and identified problems and challenges to peace for South Caucasus and Central Asia, what the regional networks can expect from each other during the cooperation, what are the joint steps to be taken in the future and most priority areas. The networks, among others, agreed to establish a platform for communication and information exchange.
