The GPPAC Improving Practice Working Group Training of Trainers for Peacebuilding Skills Held in Beijing
During November 4-6, 2019 the GPPAC Improving Practice Working Group Training of Trainers (ToT) for Peacebuilding skills held in Beijing. The event aimed at Enhancing capacities for conflict prevention in 2019 was organized in cooperation and partnership with one of the leading Chinese think-tank the Charhar Institute. Representative of ICCN, The Caucasus Regional Secretariat of GPPAC, participated in event. In addition to the training, a public seminar on "Conflict and Reconciliation in Hot Spots" co-convened by the Charhar Institute and the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) was held on November 5. The participants discussed and exchanged opinion about conflicts and reconciliation in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, Middle East and Africa and Northeast Asia. ICCN's representative, coordinator of GPPAC South Caucasus Dialogue program took part in the discussion and provided the meeting participants with the information about conflicts in South Caucasus.
