The 220 pp. book was developed and published in Georgian and English languages with the support of the OSCE/ODIHR by the Caucasus Women's Network (CWN). Since 1997 the CWN has been set up and operated on the basis of the umbrella organisation International Center on Conflict and Negotiation (ICCN).
The book provides with an overview of major aspects of the activities under the OSCE/ODIHR Regional Project in Georgia - "Women's Rights Awareness, Gender Equality and Women's Participation in Society". In 2000 the OSCE/ODIHR started the Programme and covered 11 regions of Georgia.
