Georgian and Azerbaijani Peace Journalists gathered in Baku

Georgian and Azerbaijani Peace Journalists and experts working on confidence building issues gathered in Baku, Azerbaijan on June 23-24, 2018. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing issues of the coverage of conflicts, the role of the media and peace journalism in prevention of conflict and how to handle with dissemination of conflict-provoking information via social networks. Georgian journalists presented movies and video spots about conflict management in Georgia's secessionist regions and shared their experience.

The Meeting was organised in partnership with the International Center on Conflict and Negotiation (ICCN) and the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC).
