Expert Discussion in Kachreti, Georgia

During May 3-4, 2018, the International Center on Conflict and Negotiation conducted experts’ discussion at the hotel Ambassador in Kachreti, Georgia. The discussion concerned Peace Process of Georgia in the backdrop of the approaching 10^th anniversary of the Georgian-Russian crysis August 2008, which comprises Geneva International Discussions (GID) and Abashidze-Karasin (Prague) Format.

The experts discussed strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the both formats and elaborated recommendations to be submitted to the governments and stakeholders interested. The event took place within the programme “Georgian-Russian Dialogue” implemented by ICCN and supported by the government of Switzerland.
